Financial Budget Coordinator
Main Purpose
This role will be responsible for the management of the Canaidan budgeting by division (Frito & Quaker) by function (Sales/Finance/Marketing/Ops) to make sure that the functions are aware of their actuals and forecasted budgets. The role will work directly with each function to track and monitor variances, the role will also help in setting the annual operating plan by function. The role requires strong communication skills, effective relationship building, sense of ownership & accountability, as well as strong analytical acumen.
Responsibilities
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Build annual operating plan templates to capture 1-timers and rebase of all SG&A budgets
• Pull actuals and compare vs forecast and plan SG&A lines for all divisions and functions in PFC
• Investigate cause of change drivers if actuals are different than forecast or plan
• Report actual period results to FP&A team and USA corporate teams
• Meet with functional leads to review major variances fo their respective SG&A budgets
• Deliver on ad/hoc requests from internal PFC and external PFNA stakeholders
• Deliver on process improvements to make tracking and diagnosis of SG&A forecasts more streamlined
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Busess, Finance or Accounting preferred.
• Strong communication skills with ability to simplify key messages and provide valuable insights in a compelling way
• English fluency required
• Ability to influence at various levels of the organization and drive the agenda
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven collaboration/teamwork experience
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Effective time management & prioritization capabilities
• Ability to work and think independently with limited direction and oversight
