Our client is a leading OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) in the automotive industry, known for their innovative and high-quality vehicles. With a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and fleet solutions, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sales Fleet Manager to join their team. This role is instrumental in managing and growing their fleet sales operations.

Job Summary:

As the Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the companys fleet sales division. You will lead a team of sales professionals, develop fleet sales strategies, and build relationships with corporate clients to achieve sales targets and promote our clients vehicles for fleet use.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fleet Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the companys presence in the fleet sales market, including corporate and government accounts.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of fleet sales professionals, setting clear sales goals and providing guidance to achieve targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, and fleet management companies to identify opportunities and address their specific fleet needs.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the companys vehicle models, features, and benefits, and effectively communicate this information to potential fleet clients.
  • Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and demonstrations of the companys vehicles, highlighting their suitability for fleet use.
  • Custom Solutions: Work with clients to understand their unique fleet requirements and develop customized solutions to meet their needs.
  • Negotiations: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with fleet clients, ensuring favorable agreements while adhering to company policies.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to make informed decisions and adjust sales strategies as needed.
  • Performance Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in fleet sales, automotive sales, or a related role, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of fleet management principles and industry trends.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Bachelor 's degree in Education, Automotive Technology, or a related field. Master 's degree or relevant certifications are a plus. 3+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong understanding of automotive systems and technologies. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Ability to create engaging and interactive training content. Proficiency in training software and tools. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
