Job Summary:
As the Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the companys fleet sales division. You will lead a team of sales professionals, develop fleet sales strategies, and build relationships with corporate clients to achieve sales targets and promote our clients vehicles for fleet use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the companys presence in the fleet sales market, including corporate and government accounts.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of fleet sales professionals, setting clear sales goals and providing guidance to achieve targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, government agencies, and fleet management companies to identify opportunities and address their specific fleet needs.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the companys vehicle models, features, and benefits, and effectively communicate this information to potential fleet clients.
- Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and demonstrations of the companys vehicles, highlighting their suitability for fleet use.
- Custom Solutions: Work with clients to understand their unique fleet requirements and develop customized solutions to meet their needs.
- Negotiations: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with fleet clients, ensuring favorable agreements while adhering to company policies.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to make informed decisions and adjust sales strategies as needed.
- Performance Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to management.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in fleet sales, automotive sales, or a related role, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of fleet management principles and industry trends.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
