Vacante para la empresa TARENTO SOLUTIONS en Miguel Hidalgo, Ciudad de México At TARENTO SOLUTIONS we are looking for a General Ledger Specialist in Mexico city About the role:General Ledger Analyst is responsible for US GAAP accounting, reporting and analyses of data and other ad hoc requests for information. The General Ledger Analyst performs month-end closings, General Ledger account analysis and Balance Sheet account reconciliations & prepares SOX controls. As a General Ledger Analyst you will prepare and post journal entries and perform related account reconciliations and responsible for monitoringthe attainment of various performance goals / metrics, assuring theexistence of appropriate controls at each step, and searching for newopportunities. Main tasks andresponsibilities: Accrue FI invoices. Process Standard and Recurring Journal Entry Internal Order Settlement Close and Cut-Off Transaction Processing Open and Close Sub-Ledgers AP / AR / GL Process Local Tax Provisions Process Allocations & Cycles. Process Currency Revaluations Review Cost Center Expenses Review Regional Preliminary PL Close Financial Ledger Prepare Submission Checklist Transfer and Reconcile GL for Consolidation To lead by example following all requirements, processes,structure while maintaining a can-do mentality Support the day-to-day operations of the Team whilemaintaining operational tasks. Support in meeting Key Performance Indicators, such asaccuracy and timeliness related metrics Proactively escalating to your supervisor and/or the Record-to-Report Manager on business and performance issues Playing a key role as team reference, being the first point ofescalation from local teams and other areas. Other duties as ordered by the direct manager Requirements for the role: Only people living in Mexico city English proficiency, both verbal and written. Minimal 2 - 4 years of relevant experience Must have working knowledge of general accountingprocedures and process including GAAP.
