Description

This position leads highly complex, high profile, or enterprise-wide IT project / programs consisting of multiple projects.

It plans and coordinates all aspects of internal information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation and upgrades, end user services and the like.

It coordinates work performed by IT staff and internal customers / partners by defining project requirements, scope, budget, KPIs, risks, and value driven outcomes.

This position develops detailed program level plans that communicate major milestones and critical dependencies. It manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, milestone and dependency tracking, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, KPIs, testing, adoption, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices.

Works independently and receives minimal guidance. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.

Leads projects with moderate scope, risks, and resource requirements. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Develops and manages operational initiatives to deliver tactical results.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, preferably in a job related major field of study .
  • Minimum five (5) years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience .

Preferred

  • IT Project Management experience coupled with functional work experience with the software development or infrastructure development life cycle;
  • demonstrated subject matter expertise in the areas of communication, negotiation, problem solving, influencing, risk and issue mitigation, and leadership;

experience managing multiple projects that are interconnected and will provide a conclusive result.

Extensive experience managing IT projects. Preferred experience managing IT Application Development projects and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Working Conditions

  • This position has a regular full time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday. There may be a need for occasional work after hours or weekends.
  • This position may require minimal travel up to 10% of the time.
