Evaluates and interprets complex financial accounting statements including balance, revenue, and cash flow statements to determine operational costs for manufacturing plant(s). Evaluates internal procedures and analytical statements to recommend changes to improve operating costs.
Main activities:
- Identifies trends where the operations in a plant(s) is not tracking vs plan from a cost perspective. Proposes potential solutions to close gaps. (45%)
- Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; ensures information is accurate. (40%)
- Leads reconciliations (preparation, review and approval); ensures that accounting tasks follow established company procedures and regulations. (10%)
- Evaluates internal procedures and analytical statements to recommend changes to improve reporting and analysis of data. (5%)
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Five to seven years of experience
- Deep knowledge of general accounting
- Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- CPA preferred
Education:
- Bachelor or university degree
- Preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field
- MBA preferred
