Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Print Production manager to partner with a print production team as well with a creative area to develop materials for our Pepsico Foods North America brand portfolio. A successful Print production manager must have a proficient level of understanding and functional capability in software designed for creation of graphics and ability to edit and manipulate creative, will be responsible for the development, end to end process of preflight and the correct optimization of digital files for print, focus on packaging and Point of Sale.

This person must have a strong background in print production & printing systems (agency or in-house team) with strong, focused experience in Packaging, point of sale materials and design adaptation. This person also should be a highly strategic thinker with a proven track record for leading efforts to execute with agility and have a strong management of a team to deliver high quality materials following the correct internal and preflight processes. Partner with the account and the creative team as well as participating and keeping track of a weekly status with printing partners.

Your Impact

  • Responsible for the print execution processes inside the Content team.
  • Ensure brand equity thought all materials. Be a brand guardian following guidelines closely.
  • Guide a team thought the preflight process to deliver high quality print materials collaborating with creative and account team.
  • Strong knowledge of printing systems and implementing and following agile workflows between creative and print.
  • Lead, inspire, enable, energize, and manage a group of world-class graphic team.
  • Create and sustain a culture of excellence as a beloved leader of the content in-house team.
  • Strong knowledge and management of packaging and point of sale materials and how they impact the design execution.
  • Expert in color management, color correction and how optimize RGB brand assets to CMYK.
  • Detail oriented, with an ability to prioritize, multi-task, and stay organized while responding to last minute requests and adapt to changes on business and cultural trends.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field (interactive design, graphic design, visual arts, communication, advertising, etc.)
  • 5+ years’ experience in a print production, at consumer brand or creative agency.
  • 5+ years’ experience leading diverse printing teams through fast-paced, preflight, design adaptations, and collaboration with creative.
  • Strong leadership skills as time, people management and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Language proficiency both in English and Spanish is a must for this role (FLUENT ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE COMPULSORY).
  • Demonstrable fluency with Adobe CC suite of products.
  • Expert in printing systems.
  • An online portfolio showing a variety of standout work is a MUST.
  • Experience with creative teams in agency or in-house agency environments; CPG Experience is a must fo this role.
  • Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules and work independently with little direction.
  • Presentation skills and proven ability to influence creative decision making.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint and Project Management Tools.
