ABOUT THIS ROLE

This entry-level role supports imports and exports of CTS&L projects by the rules and regulatory requirements of customs and other applicable governmental agencies. Manages daily imports and exports for the project by collaborating with relevant stakeholders, ensuring the import/export tasks are executed on time to meet project timelines.

Trade Compliance

  • Coordinate documents, procedures, and communications
  • Ensure all documents follow the record-keeping process in compliance with local regulations.

Project Execution

  • Responsible for arranging, preparing, and confirming customs invoices are drafted according to project and local regulations.
  • Prepare and submit import and export license applications in collaboration with Trade Compliance Coordinator, Trade Compliance Lead, and Line Manager.
  • Attend project meetings to provide import/export task updates.
  • Collaborate with Trade Compliance Coordinator, Trade Compliance Lead, and/or Line Manager to ensure project details are understood and import/export processes are executable.
  • Monitor shipments and customs clearance. Communicate status, and delays to appropriate parties.
  • Resolve shipment issues and possess the ability to determine when to elevate to management for resolution.
  • Track import/export licenses for quantity and expiry date. Inform and prepare and submit import/export license applications.

Education / knowledge:

  • Bachelor or equivalent (e.g. Pharm. D.),, international trade or logistics
  • Upper intermediate English level (oral and written)
  • Knowledge of supply chain, international trade in healthcare, or other industries.
  • Adequate knowledge of customs and/or clinical development.
  • Adequate experience in communication with customs brokers and other third-party logistic providers
