ABOUT THIS ROLE
This entry-level role supports imports and exports of CTS&L projects by the rules and regulatory requirements of customs and other applicable governmental agencies. Manages daily imports and exports for the project by collaborating with relevant stakeholders, ensuring the import/export tasks are executed on time to meet project timelines.
Trade Compliance
- Coordinate documents, procedures, and communications
- Ensure all documents follow the record-keeping process in compliance with local regulations.
Project Execution
- Responsible for arranging, preparing, and confirming customs invoices are drafted according to project and local regulations.
- Prepare and submit import and export license applications in collaboration with Trade Compliance Coordinator, Trade Compliance Lead, and Line Manager.
- Attend project meetings to provide import/export task updates.
- Collaborate with Trade Compliance Coordinator, Trade Compliance Lead, and/or Line Manager to ensure project details are understood and import/export processes are executable.
- Monitor shipments and customs clearance. Communicate status, and delays to appropriate parties.
- Resolve shipment issues and possess the ability to determine when to elevate to management for resolution.
- Track import/export licenses for quantity and expiry date. Inform and prepare and submit import/export license applications.

Education / knowledge:
- Bachelor or equivalent (e.g. Pharm. D.),, international trade or logistics
- Upper intermediate English level (oral and written)
- Knowledge of supply chain, international trade in healthcare, or other industries.
- Adequate knowledge of customs and/or clinical development.
- Adequate experience in communication with customs brokers and other third-party logistic providers
