Global Trade Portals ComplianceSolutions Manager

The Finance team at HPE provides world class decision support driving profitable growth and exceptional shareholder value through our commitment to operational excellence, people development, and innovation. In the Finance division, our reporting and controlling teams are working on tasks like asset management, financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, as well as USGAAP-reporting. Our objective is to display all business activities in a financially correct and transparent manner.
How you´ll make your mark:
• Lead the implementation and onboarding of the assigned high and low risk portals into a defined compliant solution through IAM and Microservice
• Lead any changes to the compliance screening proposal and related implementation on the “to be” screening touchpoints and related changes which facilitate operations and compliance, driving among various phases:
• The socialization of any new GT requirements, supporting BU and/or IT teams in defining data points, managing the delivery of comprehensive GT improvements, leading GT SME/Support participation where required, developing MoC documentation and operational readiness
• Drive compliance related changes and innovation to understand risk implications from the above compliance proposals/options focusing on system solution, operational and compliance consistency, and thoroughness
• Act as GT PMO Single Point of Contact to the assigned BU portals owners for regular communication and engagement in regard to any changes in the as is BU design e.g. changes in platform capabilities, BU offerings, being in charge of reviewing, aligning and signing off any changes with BU contacts and stakeholders, GT SMEs, HPE IT and architects. These changes will include any technical upgrade on the portal side or upgrade of GT solutions requiring analysis, testing and implementation.
• Lead the implementation of any related changes between AS IS and TO BE from the above-mentioned modifications to the current landscape, including operational, reporting and management of change activities
• Lead the identification, review, look-back, documentation and closure of any compliance related incident pertaining to portals
• Lead the break fixes, root cause and enhancements together with HPE IT resulting from IT failures, break points in the IT landscape
• Support the annual portal certifications as well as any GT assessment and/or audit.
About you:
• This position requires mastery of advanced SAP and GTS acumen, Global Trade controls as well as project management skills.
• Extensive knowledge in Global Trade applications and business applications and technologies
• Strong project management skills to lead cross-functional teams; recognized as Subject Matter Expert.
• Typically 10-15 years of experience in a Global Trade function
• 10-15 years of SAP GTS experience knowledge and skills Required
• Superior business acumen with possible IT or IT PM background
• Excellent analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant experience in management, strategy, planning, supply chain and operations, Customs (import/Export), Export Controls (including technology transfer) or related functional area.
• Very good understanding of national and international trade requirements to align with business objectives
• Ability to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently manage complex project objectives.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes (plan, source, make deliver) and HPE's overall SC strategy
• Very strong communication and influencing skills; mastery in English and local language.
