Accountability

Individual

  • Implement digital strategies (including prioritized Omnichannel strategy/capabilities), digital content and SOPs/policies aligned to local commercialization plan across JANZ/EM.

  • Oversee digital strategy for JANZ/EM countries and brands.

  • Optimize & Prioritize digital channel mix aligning with brand/TA strategy, customer strategy, customer journeys, defining KPIs and measuring the impact generated in JANZ/EM countries based on the digital maturity levels of the markets.

  • Strategic planning at segment & local levels + Performance Review for global, regional & local brands.

  • Provide digital & omnichannel expertise and support to smaller countries without dedicated resources.

  • All mentioned activities will be executed in collaboration with Head of Marketing, Head of Omnichannel enablement Head of Global Omni-Channel Deployment, and Cluster & Local Digital marketers.

  • Collaborates with Brand Equity Teams to both consume & provide inputs for Global Brand Strategies based on insights from local marketers.

  • All Digital country teams will report Gemini to this role.

Shared

  • Align on Omnichannel platform and digital analytics in partnership with Head of Omnichannel Enablement & Marketing Operations.

  • Align with regional president/countries/Head of global Digital Marketing on the country specific enhancement of the digital capability.

  • Align with the TA heads brand equity and contents on the TA specific enhancement of Digital capabilities.

Decision Rights

Own

  • Digital marketing strategy tactical plan and objective setting in JANZ/EM.

  • Inputs into brand plans and UX Design for Digital Marketing Assets.

  • Digital Channel Mix & prioritization.

Influence

  • Development of country Digital Marketing capabilities.

  • Local adaptation of the Global/JANZ/EM Strategy.

  • Local Digital Channel activation.

Measuring Success

Key Metrics

  • Building & Activation of Digital capabilities at JANZ/EM and local level.

  • KPI Analysis and Digital channels/activities used by countries e.g., emails sent; webinars deployed digital customer reach vs traditional.

  • Optimal utilization of Digital channels and assets towards omnichannel.

Organizational

  • Development of a digital management capabilities at JANZ/EM/local level.

  • Reduction of traditional marketing and sales channels by cost effective digital ones.

  • Leading and grooming Digital Marketing talent.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required. 10 years of experience with Digital Marketing required. Omnichannel expertise is required. Related experience and/or education may be considered. 

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is required.

  • Must possess knowledge of terms and concepts used in Digital Marketing. Familiar with HCP Portals. Working knowledge of CRM, SEO/SEM, and Social Media engagement.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint necessary.

  • Must be comfortable working productively with limited guidance and in a matrixed organization.

  • Excellent written and presentation skills. Ability to read and synthesize data trends. 

  • Must be able to meet established goals and objectives on time and according to established timelines.

  • Previous supervisory experience required as this role will manage a team.

  • This role has flexibility to be based from a location in the United States, Mexico or UAE.
