YOUR TASKS

• Agreeing and following up targets with the Project Manager or the Operations Readiness Manager in termsof quality, costs and timing and taking existing processes and methods into consideration
• Steering and executing in the development of production methods taking the market development forproduction systems into account and check new systems for their suitability and applicability as set byHella specific constrains and legal requirements.
• Advice the development responsible concerning production related options / improvements at newdevelopments and modifications of products regarding optimum (cost and quality) joining and assemblydesign as well as process design.
• Prepare suggestions for design of components suitable for production in accordance with manufacturingrequirements identifying concrete potentials for saving based on the idea of TCO (total cost ofownership); inspiring design or MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING changes.
• Plan complex operating equipment based on capacity and staff deployment plans to be drawn up; define type, extent, and number necessary production equipment (including auxiliary and series tools, jigs,testing equipment, special machines); arrange the procurement and/or production of the specifiedoperating equipment.
• Determine available internal capacities for the construction of operating equipment; estimate the costsand prepare suggestions for internal or external procurement.
• Define and describe manufacturing sequences, manufacturing capacities and operating equipment datataking into account the planning variables to be determined (workflows, planned times, batch sizes);prepare manufacturing plans using existing systems and methods.
• Plan new manufacturing sequences and operating equipment with the help of existing manufacturingprocesses, taking knowledge from the field of work science, production engineering and economics intoaccount, as well as guidelines and standards. Use digitization to increase efficiency and robustness (e.g.MES, Hydra, iTAC)
• Lead technical projects teams according to the Hella PEP resp. PMHregulations.
• Establishing, developing and supporting the global and regional networks
• Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• +6 year experience
• Manufacturing or automotive industry knowledge - experience
• Fluent English
• Lead technical projectsteams.
• Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related task
• Participating in hiring process
