Job Description: Partners with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, Cash Flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions). Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives. Communicates and drives adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the organization's financial goals and policies. Has the fiduciary responsibility to represent financial results correctly both internally and externally. Ensures strong business controls. Unique mastery and recognized authority on relevant subject matter knowledge including technologies, theories and techniques. Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in the most complex disciplines, in which the company must operate to be successful. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. How you'll make your mark:
- Develops highly complex financial models to manage and support Cash Flow reporting.
- Consolidates data from HPE systems and offline sources to create a financial picture.
- Works across functional teams to develop monthly forecasts for A/R, A/P, Inventory, and other Balance Sheet movements.
- Coordinates financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and actuals reporting.
- Works with treasury on Cash Flow initiatives to improve the balance sheet.
- Works with Business Unit to capture capital and inventory requirements.
- Provides executive level presentations with the ability to connect financial details to an overarching story.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.
- First level university degree with a focus in business or economics; advanced degree or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) strongly preferred.
- Typically 6+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
- Typically experienced in a variety of finance functions.
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Mastery on English
- Anaplan and EIP knowledge.
- P&L experience is a plus.
- Compute experience is a plus,
- Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered.
