Essential Functions

  • Administer the diverse programs of employee engagement and recognition, including motivational and special event programs in order to achieve continuous improvement in employee involvement and engagement.
  • Manage the authorized profit plan for the department with regards to monthly expenses, budget and account management.
  • Supervises the maintenance of the HUMAN RESOURCES information.
  • Ensure that the plant complies with all relevant employment legislation & plant and corporate company policies.
  • Support & advise plant management & employees with regards to company policies & employment laws.
  • Promote a positive employee relations climate in the plant.
  • Lead & improve training & development related processes, including needs analysis, design & delivery of training, & development programs.
  • Manage salary & wage processes. Administer compensation programs to assure competitive pay practices through systems that strive to reward superior employee performance.
  • Support plant operations through planning headcount & manning levels & recruitment of all levels of staff, as required.
  • Introduce & implement HR policies & procedures, including performance management processes.
  • Maintain HR KPIs, such as Headcount, turnover, attendance, absenteeism etc.
  • Promote environmental, health and safety policies, procedures and activities of industrial security.

Job qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing HUMAN RESOURCES in the manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience of Compensation and benefits management,  employee relations, recruiting, safety, security, environmental, health and hygiene.
  • Organizational development and team administration.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment Mexican laws
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbal and written at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of TRESS and Workday System (desired).
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • English 85%.
