Import Export Support Specialist

What you will do:

It is responsible for accomplish all the requirements for the submission of statements to the US and MX customs and maintain the

Annex 24 system for MX customs. Comply with the guidelines and regulations of Health, Safety and Environment.

Coordinate import and export shipments

Ensure all the customs activities are handle under Trade Compliance policy

How you will do it:

• Coordinate with warehouse import shipments (Raw material, MRO, Equipment)
• Set up part number on Annex 24
• Request customs classification for all the item under the Immex certification
• Ensure all the activities are handle under the Mexican customs law.
• Set up and maintain all modules on Annex 24 system
• In coordination with Trade Compliance MX team implement all customs policies.
• Close virtual operations
• Coordinate export operations with shipping department
• And other functions as assigned by your manager.
• Participate in risk management, which includes the identification of failure modes, hazards and environmental aspects, their respective assessment and the definition and implementation of controls.
• Participate in incident and nonconformity investigations as well as in the determination of the necessary corrective actions.
• Active participation in plant programs such as SafeTrack observations, suggestion box, Employee Idea System, LPA and 6S audits.
• Participate in the training program of the plant attending trainings as scheduled and, when required, acting as internal instructor.
• Comply with the documented procedures, instructions, and standards of the Integrated Management System and, when required,
• participate in their review and improvement.
• Identify and report any injury or potential injury and any potential environmental impact.
• Identify and intervene to correct unsafe acts and recognize safe behavior
• Identify and intervene to correct unsafe and off standard conditions, when inmediate correction is not possible report to direct manager or to the corresponding department.

• Education: Degree on International Business, Administration, Foreign Trade.
• Knowledge: Microsoft Office
• Basic Excel
• Customs Law
• Immex
• Annex 24 system (Vastera, Prisma, CAM).
• Skill: Work as a team, Analytic.
• Experience: 1 year on customs department.
• English: Intermediate
