Provide support to capital and non-capitalized projects, primarily related to infrastructure improvements, capacity/growth, machinery and major equipment. Also coordinate and maintain all related to Facility services of projects implemented, coordination and support to subcontracted services in facility.
Responsible of implement, from beginning to end, all the portfolio of tasks related to Facilities infrastructure and Minor Capital Projects for 2024, where he defines estimation of resources, help the selection of contractors, administrates capital & non capital budget, define technical specifications and safety on every project, manage execution of all works related during all the process and make the administrative closure of the CAPEX.
Accountabilities
Lead non-capital investment projects related to lay out improvements and capacity/growth.
Lead minor capital investment projects, primarily related to infrastructure improvements, capacity/growth, machinery and equipment.
Execute projects assigned (capital and non-capital) on time, scope and budget. All of them with quality and safety.
Clearly understands the procurement policies and works cross functionally with Supply chain & Finance departments to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Interacts with other departments (Supply chain, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Quality, SHEA, Finance, Compliance, IT) to insure proper execution, scope and compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Develop non CAPEX projects’ budget.
Directly support for minor CAPEX projects’ scope, timely execution and cost.
Tracks, manages and communicates capital budget and spending to management.
Track and communicates projects’ progress to key stakeholders, managers and leaders.
Demonstrates the ability to assess risk and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Clearly understands Flowserve´s safety policies to assure a total safety environment and assure follow of them by contractors and suppliers.
Pitch suppliers and contractors to achieve projects’ deadlines and goals under applicable policies.
Point of contact for civil works contractors during execution phases, preparation of scope of supply, tracking of progress and coordination with other areas for execution.
Lay out generation and proposal for the different stages and phases for the projects assigned, focused on: machinery installations, capacity expansion/growth and lay outs improvements.
Provide infrastructure support to manufacturing, test stand and production areas.
Coordinate subcontract services: AAC, Facility cafeteria service contractor.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechatronic, Manufacturing or related).
Minimum experience of 3 years in engineering roles supporting facilities and/or manufacturing operations or minimum experience of 3 years in industrial maintenance.
Proven experience of implement safety work policies with contractors.
English required, full professional competency (technical and business)
CAD software (inventor or autocad)
MS office suite (excel, word, powerpoint).
MS Project
High focus on both internal policies and procedures fulfillment is required for this position
