How will you make an impact in this role?

The Insurance Product and New Business Coordinator will be responsible of new product initiatives with insurance companies according to business Product and digital strategy, this role oversees proposals reviews, align benefits and coverages, negotiate commission assuring a competitive and relevant product, design and document product processes from product design to implementation; the incumbent to this role will focus in identifying, establishing, and managing strategic partnerships to drive business growth. This role requires a sharp understanding of market trends, excellent project management skills, and a proactive approach to create new opportunities. Role includes defining short- and long-term product strategies, produce necessary reports and details as well as prepare information for management sessions.In addition, role requires close contact with different internal teams (as sales, compliance, and legal team) and insurance company contacts to align training, identify product offer opportunities per channel, understand regulatory requirements, align product offer messages assuring American Express standards. This position involves deep market and customer analysis to identify product opportunities and develop strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

Responsibilities:

· Research, identify, and engage potential partners align with our strategic objectives.

· Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners.

· Saty update of industry trends, market developments to identify new opportunities and anticipate market shifts.

· Lead the negotiation and development of new products/partnerships agreements.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing and sales, to lead product projects forward and in alignment.

· Understand needs and specifications by sales channel. Analyzing different sales processes to comprehend their specific demands and requirements.

· Identify product opportunities. Examining the market and trend to discover gaps or areas where current products does not meet customer needs.

· Defining products based on cards portfolio. Based on existing cards portfolio and benefits develop new products that complement and enhance the current offer.

· Analize niche product opportunities. Research specialized market segments where specific products could be successful and profitable.

· Study newly acquired customers to understand their needs and develop products to attract them.

Minimum Qualifications

· 3+ years proven experience leading cross-functional projects, preferably within the insurance sector.

· Analytical skills and strategic thinking

· Proven experience in developing and launching new products or understand product lifecycle management.

· Ability to work across matrix structure and identify key decision makers; inspire, influence, work with partners.

· Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.

· Problem-solving skills. Ability to propose creative solutions.

· Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

· Fluent English and Spanish

· Fast, independent learner

· Agile, flexible, adaptable, and proactive

Preferred Qualifications

· Previous experience or knowledge of insurance business
