Thomson Reuters Employee Experience Technology Team is seeking a Program and Portfolio Manager to oversee the delivery of company workforce End User Compute (EUC) strategy and initiatives.
The EUC Program Manager is responsible for overseeing and sometimes managing global-scope projects to improve the Thomson Reuters Employee Experience by introducing new End User Compute (EUC) products and services to our Employees and Partners. They will champion the introduction of new and efficient ways of using technology services in the employee’s day-to-day work environment. The Program Manager will oversee the creation and progress of project plans, holding all project team members, partners, and associated teams accountable for all assigned work and action items, identifying risks and gaps in planning and ensuring remediation, communicating program updates and summaries upwards and laterally, engaging with business stakeholders as necessary, and collaborating with external partners to ensure all parties remain synchronized. The Program Manager is responsible to ensure program and project financial spend is properly tracked and reported via established processes. They will also work with the Delivery team on reporting, process and procedure management, analysis of project performance, and demand.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Program Manager, EUC, you will:
• Be a Technology Program Leader Provide key leadership for the establishment and administration of the Thomson Reuters’ Global End User Compute (EUC) Refresh- a company-wide initiative to provide our teams with the latest hardware to perform their best work in our new hybrid work culture. Inspire and drive cross-functional teams to convert technology vision into reality within project timelines and budgets. Team members may include Project teams, Service Management, Architects, 3rd Party Providers, Sourcing and Contracts teams, IT Security, HR, Finance and Business Stakeholders.
• Be a Problem Solver and Decision Maker Use sound judgment at the senior management level using assertiveness and influencing skills to demonstrate business benefits and to ensure the decision is fully understood and accepted. Make quick and effective data driven decisions, with good problem solving and analytical skills to infer quantitative and qualitative data.
• Be a Strategic and Critical Thinker Balance the big-picture view with connecting the dots, details and interdependencies to build and implement plans with a high potential for effectiveness and success. Avoid potential issues by identifying strategic and operational risk and implementing mitigation measures.

Listen to perspective and concerns, form options, recommendations, and messaging, and be highly accountable in response. Know when and how to challenge with alternatives.

Lead the exploration, testing and implementation of new methods balanced with measured risk mitigation. Demonstrate and encourage resiliency with any results and always maintain team morale.

About You
You’re a fit for the role of Program Manager, EUC, if your background includes:
• 10+ years of proven experience as a Project or Program Manager of technology initiatives
• Proven results delivering projects within the constraints of scope, time, cost, to agreed levels of quality and fulfilling all business requirements
• Ability to define, scope, and manage global projects at or above $10M in value and spanning 12-24 months
• Preferred: experience with deploying hardware such as laptops
• Proven effective project team leadership, ensuring members are motivated and developing their skills and experience
• Work with multiple teams that may have differing priorities and working/cultural practices
• Effective management of project team conflicts, building collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, and obtaining commitment to make decisions
• Effective preparation and maintenance of project plans and tracking of activities against the plan
• Strong Working Knowledge of financial and commercial models which govern technology service contracts and license agreements
• Proven strong Critical Thinking, Written and Oral communication skills
• Experience with external EUC partners, such as Dell, Lenovo, Microsoft, HP and Apple
• Working Knowledge of logistics and supply chain complexities of large scale EUC deployments
