Energy Cost management :
Lead corporate initiatives driving cost efficiencies related to electrical energy contracts and energy consumption, in partnership with Corporate Procurement and other Functions.
Green Electricity Certificates
Ensure the E2E process for the acquisition of green certificates (IRECs) to compensate for CFE's non-green electricity supply.
Electrical Studies and Standars:
Secure the maket implementation of all relevant standards, guidelines and studies in the field of electrical engineering, such as:
Short circuit study
Protection coordination study
Arc-Flash Studio
Energy Quality Study
Lightning rod system maintenance
Parameterization of protections according to study
Power factor greater than 95% 95% of the time
Voltage harmonics < 8%
Harmonics in current < 8%
Transformer utilization percentage < 90%
Lead and ensure the implementation of new standards in Factories .- Review or create new documentation as needed, reflecting the current technical and business challenges of the factories.
Electrical Normatives Requirements:
Lead governance to ensure electrical regulatory compliance in factories such as:
NOM-001-SEDE-2012 electrical installations
NOM-022-STPS-2015 Static electricity
NOM-025-STPS-2009 Lighting
NOM-029-STPS-2011 Electrical safety
And ensure the dissemination and implementation of new regulations applicable to the industrial electrical area.
Electrical Projects:
Provide electrical engineering support for Capital Investment Projects in the Factories with the help of the subject matter experts and regional engineering resources.
Electrica Maintenance Strategy:
- Lead the governance of preventive maintenance of electrical systems in Factories, ensuring the creation and improve of maintenance plans (Predictive maintenance / Condition based maintenance).
- Synergy with the Corporate PM pillar to ensure the quality and excecution of maintenance plans defined in Asset & Maintenance Management (AMM) platform.
- Analyze and optimize maintenance costs.
- Validate corporate offers, make recommendations and participate in technical/commercial negotiations for the acquisition of electrical services in factories seeking economies of scale.
Develop Technical Competencies :
Ensure that the electrical engineering resources are aligned with the business strategy and objectives, and develop career and succession planning for the electrical engineering expert network

- Extensive experience in Electrical Engineering in manufacturing:
- Previous experience as line manager or leading projects, delivering results through others with highly
- developed communication skills
- Experience preparing and submitting major capex projects, including investment budget and participation
- in long term strategic planning process
- Ability to lead or contribute to major engineering projects, including significant changes, new technologies
- or processes, and involvement in project start-ups
- Passionate to ensure that people and expertise are developed and maintained through engaging programs
