International Operations offers a wide range of wholesale and retail automotive financing products to dealers and their customers. The strength of the international business lies in its ability to tailor its products to meet unique dealer needs, consumer preferences and national requirements in local markets. Latin American country operations include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.   

About the role

The Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible of performing credit analysis based on the customers' information received through the system and make credit decisions based on the credit policy and the established procedures, according to the established company´s SLA´s.

What you need

  • Bachelor degree in Administration, Finance, Economics or similar.
  • Fluent in both English & Spanish.
  • At least +2 years of experience in credit, credit risk, lending services or similar; whereas such experience is preferred in banking or financial companies.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • High analytical and problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to present technical information clearly and accurately.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word & Outlook).
  • Abiltiy to Identify opportuny areas within de processes and propose/implement plans to to improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity and/or response times.

What you will be doing

  • Perform quality credit analysis for individuals and companies based on the guidelines established by GMF to make credit decisions assertively within service level agreement (SLA’s).
  • Ensure the compliance of consumer credit policies and procedures established by GMF Mexico.
  • Assist the Jr. Analyst’s in the process of achieving area objectives, credit area goals and key performance indicators.
  • Contribute and participate in the area operational improvement projects.
