The Jr. Manager Visual Identity is responsible for the creation of NISSAN and INFINITI stores in Mexico, ensuring compliance with NRC and IREDI standards and following the network expansion strategy dictated by the brands, through the overall management of the external Project Management Office, overseeing on-site construction, design developments, and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of the nationwide construction team in projects procurement, administration, and daily team operations management to ensure adherence to project targets.
  • Develop organizational management to determine resources needed and define responsibilities within the team members.
  • Resolve stakeholders' coordination items or conflicts in accordance with the project's goals.
  • Conduct Dealer's meetings and coordinate any deviation to internal processes and standards.
  • Proactively flag any issues that may arise during a project, take ownership of them, and work together with the team to resolve them.
  • Review and advise on buildability and coordination from the beginning of each project.
  • Support project's documentation, due diligence activities, and understanding of potential base building issues or unique conditions.
  • Analytically consider path decisions and construction methods to maintain schedule, budget, safety, and quality.
  • Report to local and global management (NML) and the project team with project updates, such as the status of each project and potential issues.
  • Work closely with an internal team of logistics to ensure smooth project handovers to building operations teams while overseeing punch-list, project closeouts, and the start of operations.
  • Validate architectural design proposals and job completions of Regional Environmental consultants.

Education:
  • Bachelor's in architecture or civil engineering.

Previous Work Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years in architectural design and construction project management (preferably retail facilities).
  • Management of multiple simultaneous projects/locations (15 to 20 monthly).
  • Knowledge of building processes and related costs.
  • Seasoned architectural designer.
  • Oversight and coordination of teams.
  • Supply chain management.
  • Knowledge about new supplier assessment.
  • Negotiation with investors.
  • Executive presentations to top management members.

Language: Advanced level of English.
Travel: Be able to travel around 30%.
