Job Responsibilities
Build and change custom academic reports to client specifications using Ruby, HTML/CSS, and SQL Procedures according to technical specifications
Provide back-end technical support to clients via a ticketing system, collaborating with the support specialist and account management teams to solve advanced technical problems with existing customized academic documents
Manage and prioritize multiple open cases at one time
Interact in writing directly with customers on support tickets
Provide prompt and accurate responses for customers, seeing cases through resolution within company SLA guidelines
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
2-3 years of experience with Ruby or similar, HTML/CSS, and Web and/or UI design
2-3 years of experience maintaining SQL stored procedures
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate technical details to people with a varying range of technical ability
