Key Account Executive

To assume responsibility for and maintain positive relationships with a portfolio of high value clients located in a particular region or state as a part of the Team Leader territory. Through value creation and a solution driven orientation, work directly with each client to develop goals specific to their programs and implement the activities that support them. Account development is a key area of focus, so commercial acuity is vital to drive success.

Providing direct support to clients in all areas of the business to improve happiness and maintain a constant communication with internal departments as marketing, medical and sales, to manage client expectations and resolve issues directly with the client. As coordinator and contact with the sales team, the KAE will be directly involved in improving our processes and efficiency and chipping in to the development of the Account Management solution, implementing the value proposition.

The KAE is responsible to coordinate the commercial implementation in the Account and manage all the company resources assigned to the client, in order to accomplish the commercial objectives of the territory, in all kind of institutions (centralized and decentralized).

Responsibilities:
  • Full responsibility for the Account relationship to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

  • Maintain multi-level relationships within an account demonstrating the organization’s expertise and value to clients to increase profitability and contracts accomplishing.

  • Respond to client transaction/financial/client service/operational issues, engaging appropriate resources and communicating to internal areas (Marketing/Sales/Medical, etc.) and ensuring satisfactory resolution and communication to client.

  • Visit clients on a regular basis to deal effectively with commercial requests detailed understanding of client’s needs and communicating insights to the CFT.

  • Provide reviews to clients and use as a platform for recognizing opportunities to optimize their inventories and assure inclusion of AZ products in biddings.

  • Contribute to the contract management and renewal and to sell appropriate additional products and services.

  • Connect with clients on product updates, new supplier offerings and policy changes as required.

  • Implement client projects and initiatives as required, with ability to communicate to the cross-functional teams to achieve established goals and deliverables as needed.

  • Accurately forecast, supervise and maintain client displacement levels and control inventories.

  • Report all activities into the CRM tool (Salesforce) and assure the critical indicators accomplishing of his/her territory.

  • Leadership: Effectively communication with the team, coordinating the activities and resources in the territory. Ability to be leader without authority.

  • Sales Government Knowledge: Strong domain of the sales of pharmaceutical products to the government institutions, commercial relationships and bidding processes.
