About the Role

We seek an Associate to join our Latam Corporate Strategy Team, inside the Mobility Strategy & Planning Team.

The Corporate Strategy Team is responsible for leading our Planning Process, Governance Model, Headcount Management & Latam Ways of Working.

This role calls for the following:

  • Someone client/people, detail, and results-oriented
  • Someone who works as an owner and likes to facilitate the work of others
  • Someone who can navigate a highly diverse set of stakeholders to drive action and results
  • Someone who is comfortable with being a self-starter, driving their own growth, and seeking out problems/challenges to solve
  • Someone with a high business sense who can understand complex problems fast, recommend a practical course of action, and follow through

Basic Qualifications
  • Proven Track Record. You’ll have 3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, strategic planning, operations, or similar roles.
  • Planning and Organization. Appropriately prioritizing and planning projects and/or tasks that maximize the benefit for the organization.
  • Communication: Communicating clearly and concisely, with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate actionable insights.
  • Teamwork. Working well in a team, through optimism and respect for others.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management. Engaging, informing, and gaining the support of various stakeholders. Taking time to build helpful relationships; and earning the trust of others within the organization through strong situational awareness and reliability.
  • Self-starter. The ability to self-serve, investigate, and get the info/data we require will make you much more effective in this role.
  • Business Acumen and Critical Thinking Skills. You’ll need to be able to use data and think creatively to identify the highest value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them. You will need to be comfortable thinking about the big-picture strategy but also getting your hands dirty in the details.
  • English. Proficiency in English.
  • Data Management Skills. Excel and general financial acumen.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven capability to manage multiple critical tasks simultaneously, consistently meeting challenging deadlines
  • Experience in defining solutions to complex, strategic topics with a deeply analytical and cross-functional approach to issues preferred
  • Experience working with a bias to action, and grittiness to get things done
  • Demonstrates exceptional drive and commitment to achieving excellence, and finding success in fast-paced and ambiguous environments

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Latam Strategy & Priorities. Work closely with the Latam Leadership team and Strategy & Planning teams across the region to build and manage the overall Mobility Strategy; defining narratives, principles, goals, and priorities.
  • Planning. Run the annual Latam Planning Process working with the Central, Local, and Cross-Functional teams.
  • Governance. Build, run, and improve the ongoing governance of the Latam Mobility team.
  • Develop Relationships. Collaborate with other functional areas (Business Development, People Operations, Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Rides, Eats, Cornershop, etc.) to ensure efficient and productive working relationships.
  • Ways of Working. Identify, build, and implement new and improved processes that facilitate collaboration, knowledge sharing, and effectiveness within the Latam teams.
  • Headcount Management. Help with the headcount management within the region, considering budget, asks, and relationship with Talent Acquisition.
