Role Summary

Learning and Development organization at Pfizer is responsible for transforming learning at Pfizer from focusing on required training to enabling required and desired learning and development.

The LATAM (Latin America) Hub and CFC (Client-Facing Colleagues) Lead is accountable for the seamless delivery of evolved and enhanced learning experiences for Pfizer colleagues that create and sustain a competitive advantage for Pfizer.

The successful candidate will lead the LATAM Hub training team in planning and delivering learning for business unit clients. The successful candidate will also partner with key stakeholders to leverage innovative training solutions and drive the learning culture change in the region. The role will drive a transformation mindset for the PLA colleagues in LATAM Region.

The role will be a member of Emerging Market (EM)/China Learning and Development (L&D) Leadership Team, representing learner and client needs for the LATAM Region and CFC colleagues, collaborating with the content creation team to define the content and approach that delivers uniform and high-quality learning across LATAM and CFC areas.

Role Responsibilities

The LATAM Hub & CFC Capability Lead is accountable for driving the transformation of learning by:

  • Working as strategic partner for key stakeholders including Commercial Leaders, Digital client partner, PX (Human Resources) Lead etc. to provide consultation and advice for learning strategy and priorities.
  • Partnering with internal clients to develop learning plan and initiatives to support business demand and ensuring the high-quality delivery of training programs to Client Facing Colleagues, Marketing Colleagues, and other in-scope colleagues.
  • Driving the transformation of self-led learning centric of Pfizer learning culture and providing innovative training solutions by leveraging PLA and other learning platforms
  • Interacting with Regional and Global PLA stakeholders to shape training strategy and materials to effectively engage with Business Unit clients to define and deliver learning initiatives that have quantifiable value and impact.
  • Monitoring adherence to streamlined regional and local review and approval of learning materials, collecting, and providing region/topic-specific learnings and performance metrics for PLA continuous improvement.
  • Driving uniform delivery of learning across the region (including product knowledge, skills training, sustainability programs, innovative learning assets, virtual tools, etc.)

In the CFC Capability Lead capacity, key responsibilities include:

  • Understanding EM CFC capability training needs, providing feedback to content creation team for content development based on EM needs; coordinating with content creation to provide T-T-T (train-the-trainer) to local trainer.
  • Working with EM commercial team to define CFC capability development strategy and design program to develop CFC capabilities and streamlining CFC capability programs to achieve synergy across markets.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 years’ experience in multinational company
  • Prior experience working in global context and/or success leading geographically dispersed teams.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience with evidence of high emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities.
  • Cross-functional working experience and collaboration

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated ability to drive significant culture and process change.
  • Commercial training experience including delivery of blended and distance learning curricula and content.
  • Experience in evaluating Learning programs and materials to ensure client and learner needs are met.
  • Understanding of Pfizer’s business
