Novartis Corporate Center Mexico City is one of six strategically located corporate centers established by Novartis globally. It brings together expert capabilities and talent across functionalities, that drives the business forward. It is home to 1000 associates who work to deliver on the Novartis purpose of re imagining medicine to improve and extend people's lives. Your key responsibilities:

  • Support strategic business projects for Novartis Group, with the aim of improving economic value and securing future competitive advantage.

The role is the functional leader of service delivery and governance across the organisation.

  • Provide advise and mentoring, monitoring and assurance, advocacy in assigned Novartis programs to key program stakeholders, program leads and senior leadership.
  • Program management: Own the implementation and management of portfolio, program and project governance frameworks and development of appropriate reporting tools which deliver value.
  • Establish organisation wide program reporting with a focus on valuable advice and early identification and resolution of risk and issues.
  • Coach and mentor project sponsors and managers.

Developing and improving templates and checklists

  • People Management: Provide encouraging leadership, motivating and advising staff as they work.

Mentoring and supporting team members to drive projects in line with outcomes "playbook"

  • The role will lead a small team of associates within PMOaaS and develop them to support programs across Novartis.

Provide mentoring support for other Program managers and Project managers. Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion: We are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.

  • Bachelor's in either a Science, Engineering, or IT with and MBA.
  • Proficient English
  • 12 Years' of proven experience in Program Management, Project Management, Major Change initiatives and Financial Management.
  • Collaborating across boundaries, Global Scope, Industry/ Business Exposure
  • Strategic Thinking and Planning, Understanding of Client needs, Developing and Delivering Story Flows and Presentations.
  • Knowledge of Current and Future Global Business Trends Desirable Requirements:
  • PMP/PRINCE 2 certification is highly desirable
