Location: Mexico Remote The Opportunity: In this role, you will lead the offshore developer’s team practicing Agile and collaborating with geographically distributed teams in multiple time zones. You will enhance existing AWS cloud-based applications and work with architects to design the cloud solutions.
You should be able to write your code and guide other team members. The selected candidate will be required to: Lead a team of offshore developers. Participate in scrum ceremonies, understand requirements, and coordinate with offshore developers.
Write his own code and do the code review of others. Demo the work done by the team. Manage horizontal and vertical communication effectively.
To succeed, this role’s responsibilities would involve the following: Must have skills: 5 years of experience in application development with a minimum of good experience in core Python & Python frameworks. Hands-on experience in using the AWS platform and deep understanding of services like - Lambda, Step-Functions, DynamoDB, RDS, ECS, Redshift, Athena, IAM, VPC, API Gateway EC2, ELB, CDN, S3, Route 53, CloudFormation, Auto Scaling, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and Security. Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation and Serverless Application Model.
Experience with quickly learning new AWS technologies and incorporating them into a solution. Familiar with backend storage systems. SQL, NoSQL (DynamoDB), and RDS Understand AWS Security best practices (SG, IAM, Resource Policies, etc).
Experience managing a team Good to have skills: Experience in web technologies like HTML, CSS, JScript, and JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React). Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing RDBMS databases, especially PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB.
Experience in developing technical/software design of the application. Experience in planning, execution, and implementation of high-quality software projects, including experience with project management tools like Jira.
