On the stunning southern coast of Mexico’s Baja peninsula, experience Cabo’s Golden Corridor, ideally located between Cabo San Lucas and San José del Cabo.

In the heart of all the action, the coveted community of Cabo Del Sol is home to our modern hacienda-style village, with sparkling ocean views throughout.

Create magical memories as hearts beat to the rhythm of Mexican music, art and culture embraced by the warmth of our Four Seasons familia.

This ultra-luxury ocean-front resort will include 96 beautifully appointed guestrooms and 61 Residences, Amenities will include three restaurants, five bars, three pools, an open-air fitness center designed by celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, Spa with ten treatment rooms and relaxation oasis, and The Clubhouse.

The Clubhouse is perched above the resort with sweeping Ocean views, and it is being designed as THE place to host spectacular weddings and events for up to 250 people.

It will feature and event lawn for ceremonies, an indoor / outdoor ballroom, living room space for entertaining, and a bridal suite.

The role of the L&D Coordinator

Delivers workplace learning, service improvement programs, promotes a continuous learning culture; partners with stakeholders to ensure employees are trained on the needed skills to successfully perform their jobs to attain service excellence.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Minimum of 1 years experience working in a coordinator capacity;
  • Experience in adult education or a similar environment.
  • Experience in hotel operations, preferably luxury hospitality or other service environments.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Facilitation skills
  • Instructional design skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills (i.e. ability to identify when training is the actual solution and provide it if required)
  • Influencing skills
  • Adult learning styles and principles
  • Needs Assessment methodologies and learning needs identification
  • Learning technologies, such as e-learning options and distance learning
  • Theories and types of evaluation for measuring program financial impact, such as Kirkpatrick’s 4 level
  • Ability to speak and write in English
  • Experience managing in diverse cultures.

Essential functions :

Coordinate and facilitates (in collaboration with other presenters) Embark for all new employees Coordinate and facilitates (in collaboration with other presenters) all other core programs including Service Foundations Keep in track the Embark program for new hires Help to L&D Manager to ensure that new managers to the company are given the knowledge and skills to successfully complete their 90-day probationary period through the New Manager Orientation program In collaboration with People & Culture or relevant Department Head, manages all compliance and safety training related to the property Maintain a clean, neat and organized work area.

Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. Maintain and update bulletin boards in service area for sharing company information with all staff.

Bases the direction for learning on a thorough Learning Needs Analysis

Creates and produces a Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) and Training Plan aligned to property’s goals & budget cycle

Designs solutions for learning needs by rapidly creating and developing learning programs (or blended Learning programs) that target performance gaps and management competencies Prepares and produces training calendars that reflect performance gaps and learning needs Markets the learning function’s programs, initiatives, and online learning Evaluates the effect of training programs and initiatives through measuring results and monitoring behavioural change Help to creates and adheres to an annual budget for all training programs, initiatives, and learning resources Selects and manages external vendors to deliver specialised training on service and / or management skills Actively pursues personal growth in the areas of training and learning, pursuing certifications or expertise in a learning discipline Coordinate & organize training in property Responsible of the People & Culture department communication Prepare and maintain training attendance records Coordinate and organize programs facilitated by internal and external trainers Assist in coordinating and participate in employee relations events
