We are seeking talents for our Vallejo Plant for the position of:

Legal Compliance Assistant

Non-management position

Start date: As soon as possible.

Location: Vallejo Plant.

Work schedule: Full-time position.

Qualifications: Graduate in Civil, Criminal or Environmental Law.

Accessibiliy: Main entrance with access for disabled personnel, parking lot for employees, the office area is located in the 1st floor, just stairs, not elevator available.

Your responsibilities will include efficient & quality day-to-day administrative support to ensure operational efficiency of the Organization.

The objective of this role is to execute Site’s legal requirements:

This resource is required for support in the Legal Compliance area to carry out the following activities:

  • Compilation, analysis and filling out forms for Legal Compliance processes such as: COA, COI, Civil Protection Program, Waste Water Disposal and Records, License Renewal (CDMX and Federal Operation), Construction Licenses), Alignment Certificate and Official Number, Land Use License, Notice of Article 62.
  • Execution of payments to legal agencies and generation of checks and POs.
  • Collect and monitor compliance with the delivery of information for legal requirements and audits.
  • Creation of documents to be delivered to government agencies
  • Prepare processes, documents and packages to be presented before authorities including the next agencies: SEMARNAT, CFE, CONAGUA, SCT), State authorities (SEDEMA, Secretaría de Salubridad, Obras Públicas Estatales, Protección Civil Estatal, OCAVM), and Local authorities (SEMOVI, Patrimonio Inmobiliario, Alcaldía Azcapotzalco, Desarrollo Metropolitano, Medio Ambiente Municipal, Centro de Atención Empresarial, Protección Civil Municipal, OPERAGUA, Secretaría de Gobierno, CESAC), STPS, COFEPRIS.

Job Qualifications

  • Live in Mexico City and available to work in our plant of Vallejo.
  • Graduate in Civil, Criminal or Environmental Law.
  • Preferable knowledge on environmental, legal and construction regulations of Mexico City and Azcapotzalco county.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package.
  • Operates with Discipline: Ability to build and maintain strong internal controls and regulatory requirements in line with company stewardship.
  • Intermediate English.
  • Team orientation, “can-do “attitude and ability to deliver breakthrough results.
  • Creativity, innovation, initiative, follow-through, good communication skills, and priority-setting.
  • Strong thinking / problem-solving skills which can be applied to business.
