What awaits you:
• Provide comprehensive and expert legal advice on business-critical, strategic, high-risk and exposure, regulatory, corporate, compliance, data privacy, information protection, public policy, and day-to-day matters.
• Manage and direct the work of external legal counsels, ensuring effective and efficient legal representation for BMW Group legal affairs.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare all necessary legal documents, contracts, and contract templates to support existing and new business operations.
• Proactively monitor and advise relevant departments on emerging legislative and regulatory developments in Mexican laws and regulations to ensure BMW SLP's operations remain compliant.
• Handle complex negotiations with third parties while safeguarding BMW Group's rights and interests.
• Collaborate closely with the central legal department to ensure alignment and consistency in legal strategies and practices.
• Control legal costs and manage expenditures related to outsourced legal services.
• Provide legal guidance to managers and employees of BMW SLP and other BMW Group companies on all applicable Mexican law matters.
• Maintain a high level of professional expertise and stay up-to-date on the latest legal developments relevant to BMW Group operations in Mexico.
What you should bring?
• Bachelor's degree in law.
• 5+ years of experience in labor law, corporate law, and contract law.
• Proven expertise in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, even under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Highly ethical and discreet in handling confidential matters.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Office suite, and particularly MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Business-fluent in English.
