This is your chance to be part of an in-house and remote Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales. As a Cancún based Leisure Sales Manager you will support this area which is at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and is important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. On the Leisure Sales team reporting to Assistant Director of Sales, you will work on projects including:
· The development of sales strategies to attract the leisure market segment to meet or exceed established revenue, ADR and room nights goals for the Hilton Cancun All Inclusive Resort.
· Represent the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts. Consistently strives to maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams.
· Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum amount of revenue to meet and exceed sales goals.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.
What your day-to-day will be like
Customer and Account Management
Solicit new business opportunities from international operators, travel agents, and wholesalers through sound business practices including outside sales calls, educational webinars, presentations to travel agencies, and attending tradeshows.
Negotiate contracts and set established agreements with accounts.
Assist in the integration of individual property efforts into the overall performance Hotel strategy.
Attend sales missions, tradeshows and fam trips dedicated toward the growth and recognition of the hotel.
Establish Leisure and Business travel marketing and Actions Plans.
Develop sales strategies and plan by analyzing historical, current, and future hotel / market trends.
Foster relationships with agencies and individual agents to ensure ongoing communication of programs, promotions, packages.
Coordinate special promotional events for key leisure and wholesaler customers and their clients, Fams, resort-hosted receptions, customer appreciation parties and incentives.
Monitor marketing efforts to leisure travel customers with updates of programs and events on behalf of the Hotel.
Weekly review of account's performance and travel pattern to determine the appropriate marketing efforts/coops.
Engage with the hotel's revenue management and reservations team, along with Operations to ensure strong communication and synergy.
Actively engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales team to retain existing customers and secure new business for the Hotel.
Enter and maintain pertinent account and booking information in Delphi FDC in accordance with defined standards.
Prospecting:
Research, solicit and generate new business opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue and meet and exceed new business generation goals.
Create and execute plan to shift share from your competitors.
Engage in outside sales activities to uncover needs, build relationships and to win new business.
Negotiations:
Negotiate contracts and set established agreements with accounts.
Provide solutions that both achieve and protect the financial goals of the hotel while strengthening relationships with customers.
Engage Hilton Worldwide Sales and Hilton Legal to support the contracting process when needed.
How you will collaborate with others:
· You will work with Director of Sales, ADOS, Director of Revenue to develop the sales and pricing strategies.
· You will also collaborate with HSW team in charge of the intermediary partners and will interact with the regional team including Regional Directors of Sales, Area Vice-President of Operations and other related Depts.
What projects you will take ownership of:
· Organize and implement sales trips and trade shows domestic and international, including flights, hotel reservations, daily appointments, events for agencies and homebased agents and client events.
· Develop and implement familiarization tours to ensure understanding proper positioning of the resort
- WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of work experience in Leisure sales environment.
Knowledge of key accounts and agencies within the leisure travel segment.
Excellent relationship management and networking abilities.
· Ability to travel (domestic and international) on short notice and adaptable to schedule changes.
· Travel up to 60% of your time across Domestic and International destinations. (Could include over-night sales trips every 4-6 weeks)
· Highly professional presentations and oral and written communication skills.
· Bilingual English & Spanish
A valid Passport will be necessary and Visa (USA).
It would be useful if you have.
Computer skills including proficient in standard Microsoft office products (specially Excel and power point) and Delphi.
Experience with TA Connect
