This role will focus on:

Logistics Administrator provides daily follow up of importation and exportation orders, constantly seeking to efficient and fast transportation, international shipments as locally. The main responsibility of the position is to purchase products to supply customers as well as have the minimum stock inventory, this process must be an efficient way due it involves the level of rotation of imported products as well as customer satisfaction by having the products in immediate delivery this mean this position is one of the main columns of Watson Marlow México´s structure.

What you’ll be doing

1. You will generate purchase orders according to the purchase orders in the backlog and the minimum stock requirement.

2. You will follow up the minimum stock, updating the values according to sales, sales strategies, and product launches.

3. Collaborate with relevant product managers to measure sales and inventory efficiency

4. You will be responsible for selecting suppliers and their qualification.

5. You will request quotes from suppliers

6. You will manage the documentation of purchase orders, confirmations and invoices.

7. You will comply with ISO 9001 procedures

8. You will contribute directly to the achievement of the objectives and goals in terms of Safety, environment and Quality.

9. You will participate in quality, safety and environmental meetings and training

10. You will report any unsafe conditions that could cause an accident.

To be successful in this role, youwill need:

· Experience in analyzing efficient inventory management.

· Experience in the import and export of products. Interaction between customs, customs agent and suppliers.

· As qualifications, you must have the ability to understand engineering volcabulary, in order to understand weights, dimensions, and applications of Watson Marlow products, in this way you will be able to contemplate technical concepts for inventory analysis.

· You must have intermediate knowledge of english, through which you must communicate in writing or orally with external providers.

· As qualifications, you must be an empathetic and communicative person who can negotiate with suppliers, solve customer problems by collaborating with other people on the Watson Marlow Mexico team.

· You must be a proactive person who, in the face of adverse situations, can present a solution in your work area.

· Proficient in Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Teams.

· Team oriented, well organized and detail oriented.

· Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
