Johnson Electric is excited to announce we are now recruiting for a logistics Analyst at our Zacatecas, Mexico facility. The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the logistics within our region. This position involves managing day-to-day transport logistics, overseeing courier shipments (both inbound and outbound), and handling air, ocean, and truck shipments. The successful candidate will collaborate with the team to create airfreight shipments, obtain freight quotes, and ensure smooth customs clearance processes. Additionally, they will manage claims for damaged or lost shipments with courier suppliers and provide essential digital files for compliance purposes.
Your Responsibilities Would Be:
- Courier Shipments: Responsible for coordinating all courier shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Air/Ocean/Truck Shipments: Oversee the transportation of goods via air, ocean, and truck, optimizing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Customs Clearance: Handle operational customs clearance activities, including creating and maintaining import/export and accurately classifying import goods.
- Claims Management: Manage the claims process for damaged or lost shipments, working closely with courier suppliers to resolve issues promptly.
- Compliance Support: Provide necessary digital files to CAMPA and internal compliance functions.
- Regional Logistics Initiatives: Collaborate with the logistics team on regional logistics projects and initiatives.
Our Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with customs regulations and import/export processes.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., logistics management systems, Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
