Logistics Engineer - Packaging

We are currently looking for an LOGISTICS ENGINEER - PACKAGING to join our team based in Valeo, San Luis Potosí.

Principal activities:

• He/she is responsible to have updated the packaging work instructions of the current and new references in production lines and shipping area.

• He/she is responsible to have updated the packaging approvals with suppliers and customers of the current and new references.

• He/she participates in Plan-30 committee giving ideas for optimizations in packages for OEM, OES and IAM.

• He/she participates as a key user to set up in SAP (MM02, ZAWA, VD52, and so on) the packaging and labeling information according to the package approved for OEM, OES, IAM, WIP and Raw Material.

• He / she is responsible to upload and update the packaging information in Portal administration with each customer.

• He / she is responsible to schedule and follow up the packaging maintenance for OEM, WIP and Raw Material with external suppliers. It is responsible to get the budget to fulfill this activity.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years experience in similar or related position in an automotive sector.

• Experience with CAD Software, SAP, customer portals (Ford, GM, Toyota, Nissan), packaging development and packaging regulation norms.

• Intermediate english
