Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Logistics Manager to join their team in Ciudad Juárez. This role offers the opportunity to work with customers, vendors, and internal plant departments to coordinate the flow of material in, out, and through the facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning and management of the entire supply chain, including warehouses, transportation, procurement, customer service, and inventory control. This role requires maintaining compliance to high standards and local safety and environmental regulations.

What you'll do:
As a Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the flow of material within our organisation. You will be responsible for strategic planning and managing the entire supply chain - from warehouses to transportation. Your role will involve interacting with customers to ensure efficient production of products while maintaining high standards of safety and environmental compliance. You will also oversee the timely delivery of all components and raw materials.

* Strategic planning and management of the entire supply chain
* Maintaining and improving Logistics KPI’s such as Quality, Quantities, Stock level, on time deliveries, Logistics cost, and efficiency
* Following safety and environmental procedures to maintain a safe working environment
* Interacting with customers to determine efficient production of products
* Ensuring effective product flow of incoming components and outgoing finished goods
* Timely delivery of all components and raw materials
* Overseeing all EH&S ISO rules and regulations


What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Logistics Manager position brings a wealth of experience in automotive logistics or supply chain management. With a minimum of five years' experience in a similar role, you have honed your ability to lead a team effectively. Your strong communication skills enable you to interact seamlessly with customers, vendors, and internal teams. You are well-versed in ERP systems like SAP and have a basic understanding of norms and quality standards. A bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering is required, and an MBA is preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is also a must.

* Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Automotive Logistics or SCM
* MBA preferred
* Basic knowledge about Lean Manufacturing and its tools
* Ability to lead and manage staff team
* Good communication skills
* Organisation skills
* Analytical skills
* ERP systems knowledge (SAP)
* Management of computer packages (MS OFFICE)
* Basic understanding of norms and Quality Standards
* Customer Service skills
* Communication and feedback techniques
* Human Relations skills
* Bilingual English / Spanish 80% (written and spoken)
