Logistics Officer - Imports

Job Summary

As our Logistic Officer you will join our Logistics Team Supporting Tetra Pak Services Supply Network Organization. We are committed to assure deliveries and returns on time for all our customers located in Americas Region with a lean logistics flow. All above with high focus on reducing cost, secure supply, optimize quality, ensure foreign trade compliance and not the least to drive sustainability improvements.

What you will do

As a Logistics Officer you will: 

• Daily problem-solving to support on time deliveries and returns efficiently and effectively by providing best logistic solution and service.
• Daily interaction with colleagues in a truly multi-cultural and multi-dimensional Services Supply Network.
• Ensure Foreign Trade Compliance with the rules and regulations established by the authorities on multiple Countries, as well as compliance with Tetra Pak procedures.
• Daily communication with control tower
• Work plan implementation and follow up process of machinery returns.
• Focused to complete Imports and export process efficiently and effectively.
• Lots of opportunities and will be expected to take initiative and to suggest new ideas to deliver value.
• Work closely with external stakeholders: Custom agencies, suppliers, and other logistics partners.

We believe you have

• Bachelor’s degree related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain or warehouse.
• Intermediate Excel level (Pivot tables)
• Nice to have experience using SAP.
• Skills: Analytical mindset, organized, details oriented, team player.
• Proficiency in English.
