Utilize your logistics expertise with supporting a high growth manufacturing business within Mexico/Latin America. Coordinate planning and schedules with project management teams and logistics providers to meet customer requirements at the best cost and service. Align production plans, storage locations and optimize network design to ensure materials are well-positioned to meet deadlines and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage transportation solutions, sourcing, and carrier base to deliver high service at lowest cost
  • Analyze large data sets to ensure logistics network is optimized with efficient design that provides service and cost needed by the business supported
  •  Strong collaboration with distribution teams, planning managers, and manufacturing sites to meet required deadlines for multiple shipping locations throughout the region and cross border shipments.
  •  Strong analytics capabilities to independently utilize large data sets to identify network problems, and productivity opportunities Drive 5% net of cost productivity in IA (Industrial Automation) SBG logistics spend
  •  Employ innovative solutions for the business to achieve optimal transportation system performance
  •  Develop HON metrics to manage cost, service, and visibility
  •  Train and make available visibility and query tools to logistics users worldwide
  •  Implement solutions with TMS and SAP to deliver productivity through compliance and optimization
  •  Build TM solutions for suppliers’ inbound freight, to improve cost and service
  •  Monitor and achieve budgets
  •  Lead to drive continuous improvement

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High Transportation experience
  •  10 years extensive background in managing multiple modes of transportation, FTL/LTL and International mode experience desired
  •  Strong understanding of US – Mexico customs processing and Intra Mexico ground operations
  •  Strong analytic skills to drive freight productivity and to produce financial business cases for business

  • Extensive experience in Logistics, freight sourcing or relevant functions in Integration Supply Chain
  •  Think independently and handle multiple projects through to completion
  •  Excellent collaboration and influence with management and cross function teams. Previous experience working in a matrix organization desired.

  • Bachelor's degree
  • High Transportation experience
