As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and leading end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve required on-time pick up & delivery of goods. Manage Logistics Costs to meet budgets and Op Plans.
- Detecting and signaling flaws in approaches, methods, procedures and processes and suggests improvements.
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about data gathering and analysis.
- Contributing to the project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months
- Managing transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers/suppliers. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma)
- Have an advanced English level
- Have at least 3 years of experience in Logistics.
- Have experience in asset and inventory control (desirable)
- Have Office suite knowledge
- Be able to travel 80% of the time around the Gulf of Mexico coast
This is a temporary position (1 year project)
