We are seeking a talented Production Coordinator to join our specialized Manufacturing team for our Meritor area in Monterrey, Nuevo León, MEXICO.
We are seeking a talented Production Coordinator to join our specialized Manufacturing team for our Meritor area in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, MEXICO.
In this role, you will have an impact in the following ways:
Responsible for the daily activities of a production team, including managing team members, housekeeping, and meeting production goals.
Works transversally to recommend and participate in improving safety, productivity, quality and efficiency of operations.
Serves as a group leader on projects and work assignments.
Provides guidance and feedback to team members to achieve tasks and objectives; sets expectations and clarifies responsibilities.
Coaches and mentors for team members.
To be successful in this position, you will need the following:
Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanics, Metalworking or related;
Intermediate level of supervisory experience required.
Experience in machining process (turning, milling, general machining)
Personnel control (Kronos, desirable) and monitoring of the production process
Experience in managing work groups (50 people)
Coordination and supervision of activities (5's; zero accidents, Pokayokes, compliance with training, rotation, zero non-conformities in quality and HSE audits; compliance with the production and shipping program, zero negatives in material or product sales transactions, Compliance with LOTO, MDO, preventive and predictive maintenance, filling of boards hour by hour)
Schedule availability (8 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays 8 am to 12 pm)
