Supervise a team of individual contributors who maintain and repair manufacturing equipment. You will leverage your maintenance experience and skills to lead some of the world's most talented maintenance mechanics. You will use your leadership abilities to contribute to driving safety, productivity, and exceptional quality in one of Honeywell production facilities. Through collaboration with cross functional teams and the Honeywell Operating System (HOS), you will prioritize team workload and drive continuous improvement. As a supervisor, you will coach your team members in technical and behavioral competencies in order to deliver high impact business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create strategies to meet the needs of the department.
  • Coordinate daily cleaning and maintenance tasks of equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain the site and all its areas (facilities) in good condition.
  • Create short, medium and long-term maintenance programs, assigning a tentative completion date to the necessary tasks according to the expected workloads.
  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, facilities, machines and tools to ensure they are safe, reliable and efficient.
  • Schedule and assign work to maintenance technicians based on priority, skill level, and workload.
  • Evaluate the performance of maintenance technicians, identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures, protocols and policies to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, supplier contracts and supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective replacement of worn parts and equipment, placing material purchase orders for your department.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, production and quality control, to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues that impact plant productivity and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and repair costs to identify trends, track performance, and forecast future maintenance needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including environmental, health and safety, and labor laws, and work with management to address and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Recruit, employ, train and supervise new workers.
  • Monitor any repairs and ensure they are completed within a timely manner.
  • Provide adequate follow-up to all repair and maintenance work.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field (medium-advanced English)
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members to achieve performance goals.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of equipment, machinery, programming and industrial facilities. In-depth knowledge of maintenance techniques, tools and principles.
