As a Field Operations Manager, you will partner with our business leaders to attract, retain, and develop Hilton's most important asset, our Team Members. On the CALA Operations team reporting to Sr Director HR & Talent Acquisition CALA, you will be responsible in supporting daily HR activities as you support our hotel teams across Hilton's managed portfolio of hotels in CALA.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Manage daily Human Resources operation to include interviewing, and hiring, employment and recruiting, training and development, wage/benefit compensation, team member and labor relations, contract compliance, disciplinary procedures, TM safety, statutory compliance, recognition and reward, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate Labor Relations and union negotiation reporting and analysis across Mexico.
  • Develop the materials and presentations for HR leadership and GM calls and capture important takeaways for follow-up.
  • Oversee function of the data management system to include entry of team member data, recording employment transitions, and complete other HR Dashboards (i.e. hire, separation, leaves of absence), generating reports (i.e. payroll analysis, labor turnover)
  • Track updates to the HR Field Roster.
  • Organize team documents/resources and maintain the regular distribution cadence to support daily operations.
  • Facilitate/Coordinate HR Audits & Communication

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Be the liaison between the field and corporate by providing support (e.g., best practices, sharing feedback from the field to improve HR programs and delivery model, etc.)

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Support the annual GPTW and GTMS survey administration for hotel participation and tracking.
  • Manage team member relations programs, activities, and initiatives to include picnics, holiday functions, health fairs, award banquets and special events.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Two (2) to three years (3) years of professional HR experience.
  • Two (2) years of on-property HR experience with strong proficiency in labor relations and recruiting.
  • Strong proficiency with HR Analytics, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Bilingual – Spanish and English
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

It would be useful if you have:

  • Design in Canva or other publishing tool
  • Social Media Administration
