The LATAM Talent Acquisition Head is a member of the LATAM HR Ops organization and will report to the Head of HR Ops LATAM. The scope of responsibilities is approximately 9,000 regular employees paid by Cardinal Health.

This role is responsible for determining current staffing needs and work together with local manufacturing business to produce forecast for Direct & Indirect Labor positions (~7,500 per year), developing and execute the Talent Acquisition strategies and hiring plans (~Annual Budget USD $750K) and executing attraction initiatives, position is responsible to keep the sites in operation filling out in time Direct and Indirect Labor roles.

This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Manufacturing, Payroll, in-country HR, IT, EHS, etc.) and the external vendors (agencies, social network, etc.).

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Proactively and creatively sources, leads and screens candidates to develop pools of talent for all positions across Cardinal Health; providing professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the recruitment, selection and onboarding processes to achieve organization goals and results.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HRBP’s to develop effective sourcing and recruitment strategies through the development of effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community to positively impact the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment process using a data driven focus to set priorities for improvements aligned with ongoing strategic imperatives.
  • Create and maintain an environment, through recruiting, equal employment opportunity, diversity, equity and inclusion in support of Cardinal Health’s Policies and Procedures
  • Build, engage, lead and develop a team of high-performing recruiters in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.
  • Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals without having to scale deployed resources at a rate faster than the business is growing.
  • Work closely with business leaders to influence and deliver quality assessment and high touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel.
  • Periodically lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to Talent Acquisition.
  • Co-Lead employment branding initiatives and assist in employee retention and development.
  • Develop TA KPIs initiative to provide leaders, HRBP’s and processes line of sight to improve Operation Performance.
  • Employer Branding: Experience creating marketing campaigns and strategies to attract candidates, focused on general market and diversity, strong experience using social media.

Key Experiences and Requirements

  • 12 years of experience in “Maquilas” Talent Acquisition processes.
  • BSc/BA in business administration, human resources, or relevant field.
  • Must have full proficiency in English (verbal and written communication skills).
  • Passionate for continuous improvement.
  • Must have full proficiency managing HR systems - Workday. Experience with a ticketing system such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employment branding.
  • Understanding of all selection methods and techniques.
  • Proficient in the use of social media, job boards and API’s or other interphases’ options.
  • Willingness to understand the duties and competencies of different roles.
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and database.
  • A leader and strategic thinker.
  • Full Proficiency to negotiate with stakeholders and vendors (source workforce).
