Danfoss is seeking a customer-focused Manufacturing Engineer. If you are an experienced professional ready to bring forward your ideas, then Danfoss gives you the freedom to do so. In this position you will negotiate and be able to communicate with all levels of the organization and must be responsible and accountable as well as know how to manage available resources, removing obstacles and escalating critical problems.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Coordinate & elaborate PFMEA of manufacturing processes for machined/assembled parts.
- Define the conditions of machining/assembly for each operation of the process flow.
- Elaborate operating programs for machining on CNC equipment or sustainable processes on conventional machines.
- Calculate and define dimensions and tolerances for machining processes.
- Improve the quality of the product and reduce the operational cost.
- Promote risk prevention strategies/assessments.
- Assume and motivate responsibility and accountability across the organization.
- Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Cost outs & Ergonomic solutions.
- Elaborate estimations or quotations for new products, including technical studies involving different processes, tools and equipment.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- At least 3+ years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience on CNC controls, Fanuc, Okuma, Mazatrol, Siemens
- Expertise on manufacturing processes
- Proven experience in Solid Works
- Experience in MasterCam programming
- Experience in designing and implementing fixtures
- Green Belt certification
- Basic knowledge of steel's heat treatments
