Job Description: This position support the design and development of the manufacturing processes. Contribute to the buildup of new production lines, generating the technical information of production processes. You will also maintain and improve existing manufacturing methods while supports Engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Under general direction, performs basic repairs, machine process adjustments to build parts to print.
- Perform time studies (Take of times and movements) and standardize operations.
- Diagnose product problems and determine how to correct them, checking process manuals and parts catalogs as necessary.
- Create technical documentation (standard work sheets, OMS, ODS, FMEA, IT´s, etc.) Coordinates work of outside contractors for new Engineering projects.
- Support to manufacturing cell design events.
- Facilitating problem solving through any methodology such as PDCA, A3, EWO
- Support the design of future state Value Stream Maps.
- Evaluation and modification of layouts of production lines and production cells.
- Work with multidisciplinary groups to implement Lean Manufacturing.
- Support process related activities for New Product Introduction and Engineering changes.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 3 years related experience into a Manufacturing process. Knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles. Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of manufactured products. Demonstrate basic-intermediate English level. Basic knowledge of design techniques, blueprints, and drawings. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or, approaches to problems.
