The Position: Market Development & Technical Service: - This position develops and executes strategies for penetration and growth in key accounts and specific market segments, providing technical assistance to customers for selection, application and processing of our entire polymer portfolio; offers technical solutions that differentiate the Company from the competition and contributes to the financial targets of the business. Actively involved in Sustainability matters.
What you will do:
- Projects management to maintain and increase sales in Mexico, CA&C.
- Responsible for developing new business, secure technical approvals to access new appliations & markets, building and maintaining relationships with diverse customers with unique requirements.
- Understands Market trends and technical requirements.
- Develops strong value propositions supported both externally (clients) and internally (Business management).
- Support sales team to ensure effective conversion of specific projects into sales
- Able to provide technical assistance and training to Customers and Distributors.
- Kepps constant communication with collegues from different Countries/Regions/Focus Industries to understand/promote success stories.
What you will bring:
- Thorough understanding of Manufacturing processes with polymers (Injection, Extrusion, Blowing, etc).
- Understanding/Interpretion of technical requirements, product specificatios/drawings, lab test results, ASTM/ISO Standars aplicable to Platic products, etc.
- Product Diversity: Needs a good understanding of polymers with diverse applications across different industries like packaging, appliances, toys and customers goods.
- Competitive Landscape: Need for differentation, customer satisfaction and market leadership.
- Technical Expertise: Basic knowledge of resig chemestry, processing (mainly injection and extrusion) and performance characteristics is required.
- Problem Resolution: Quick and effective troubleshooting of commercial matters, product performance and processing issues.
