What you will do:
Unit setup, monitoring and control to perform all type of tests of air-cooled small tonnage chillers and 
perform troubleshooting in case of failures.
How you will do:
• Mechanical Unit Setup, Set the unit in the test chamber, make connection and do fully operation 
of water system, give chemical treatments in water and glycol to maintain all the conditions in 
order to have good heat transfer, save water and glycol will be important.
• Electrical Unit Setup, connect the unit to the power and control wiring, DAQ Preparation, 
connecting all instrumentation to chiller data monitoring into the LABVIEW System.
• Programming control panel with the different test conditions about AHRI Standards and 
EUROVENT Standards. Full Panel Operation to start and stop operation during the test and 
perform some operation and fails diagnostics.
• Print out all the Chiller Data in normal operation and Chiller fails from Chiller panel to PC.
• Keep the equipment and the Test Chamber area clean and in good conditions.
• Comply with activities specified in JCI Safety Commitment Letter.
• Participate in Safety Subcommittees and Safety Audits as required.
• Participate in high performance and high efficiency teams.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree or equivalent, preferably in the Mechanical or Industrial engineering area. Engineering
degree or HVAC technician is preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Operation and maintenance of Chillers Equipment, or 3 years Test 
Tech experience or equivalent is required.
Experience in lean manufacturing and six sigma tools is desirable. 
Teamwork experience, ability to establish and improve the communication between all the departments 
at all the levels of the organization, decision maker, ability to work under constrained time scales and 
demanding workloads.
