2. Job Statement:
Material specialist make sure the right materials (mainly polypropylene) are using in the right manufacturing method, material handling, extrusion, molding, maturity, assembly and may be involved in developing, selecting or evaluating materials for specialist uses in collaboration with the global team of R&D (Research and Development).
The Material Specialist report to Manufacturing Engineer Leader of the Filter Plate Plant.
• Problem solving of any plastic processing issues with other factory staff and global team.
- Lead the factory product quality and processing testing routings related plastic materials and products.
- Heading the laboratory operations.
• Planning and executing the R&D at the laboratory and optimizing the production process, (parameters) together with the global team.
• Supporting manufacturing process planning and process parameters settings.
• Supporting and implementing continuous improvement together with global team.
• Monitoring all customer issues and assist to identify and resolve issues effectively and assist senior staff to develop resolution for all issues.
• Design and recommend innovative improvements to all process and monitor all competitor activities and determine all quality specifications for all new materials.
• Crate and manage production documentation in your own responsibility area.
• Training, guide and support other stakeholders and teams in own responsibility area.

5. Travel Requirements:
Not frequently travel is needed, maybe one or two times per year. (Valid passport and USA Visa must be had)
• Min. bachelor’s or master’s degree in material science, polymer chemistry, polymer technology.
- Five years’ experience or more, in thermoplastic or plastics materials processing.
- Good theoretical knowhow in polymer materials, especially thermoplastic polyolefins, their processing behavior and testing.
• Advanced in LEAN principals
• The management style is analytical, your decision is based on data and capability to make right decision fast.
• Capabilities to provide direction and motivation.
- Good understanding of writing and verbal English languages.
- Strong leadership, development and relationship building skills.
• A good level of computer skills in essential – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SAP and running computer models.
• Highly motivated focused individual.
• Analyzing data to identify opportunities to improve.
• Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines.
• Strong, co-operation, interpersonal skills to manage internal and external issues.
