Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This role is responsible for the design an development of LATAM´s Activations initiatives, focused on Merchandising Harmonization agenda to ensure SOM and increase the demand of our products at Point of Sale, enhance our multi-categories, while delivering significant savings. This role designs, develops and tracks wit GBS all regional merchandising displays & POP for all segments (SF/LF/WHS)

  • Design the strategies for displays according to operating unit needs. Portfolio and segmentation strategies
  • Development of engineering and high resolution files for each tool and POP material designed.
  • Approves prototypes to ensure quality of all materials in development, aligned with those authorized by regional and global marketing graphics.
  • Ensures timely and quality of all production and deliveries, monitor wth GBS shipping logistics according to requests
  • Supports productivity agenda with optimized designs
  • Contributes to PEP+ agenda with sustainable designs, raw materials and produccion processes

Your Impact

As Merchandising Designer & Project Coordinator, LatAm your responsibilities would consist of:

  • Conceptualize, design and develop the temporary merchandising according to demand requirements.
  • Guarantee the quality assurance for proof of concepts (POC) and field sales tests validation.
  • Align merchandising AOP priorities with GMs, DX and OUs leaders
  • Manage internal own team and external supplier teams to ensure complete process from requirement (brief) to production moniroting, and POS performance evaluation (monetize agenda)
  • Generates strategies for POS and advice to applicants on the best tools to display
  • Manage extended teams at every Latam OU to support the delivery of the countries merchandising agenda with temporary displays, Pure Plays and POP harmonization during the year according to AOP
  • Design and develop the displaysfor total segments (SF, LF, WHS), total BUs and support the approvals of them with regional management level and Country leader.
  • Manage own team and extended OU commercial teams to develop engineerings, blue prints and high resolution graphic files of temporary displays, Pure Plays and POP for collaboration plans. Monitoring developing prototypes. Production tracking and test pilot.
  • Review, coordinates and updates each engineering development temporary displays, Pure Plays and POP catalog portfolio; In order to set deliverable times and each material quality
  • Manages communication status (production and shipments) with own team and market leaders to ensure GBS and local teams receive development tracking per initiative

1-           Develop merchandising team strategy of productivity roadmap for temporary displays, Pure Plays and POP merchandising material at region level

2-           Lead, along with DX and GBS team, the improvement of impact of solutions at point of sales

  1. Regional & Global weekly connection with OUs, Regional DXs teams, CCO and Global DX teams for Share best practices and processes
  2. Pilot and defend with DX and OU leaders, new innovative solutions, scalable technology ans ensure execution at local markets
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree: Industrial Design / engineering/business/management

Experience:

  • Expert managing Autocad, 3d packs and Graphic Adobe licenses
  • Experience of 5 years in development exhibitors and managing multiple projects
  • Experience of 6 months to 1 year in people management to ensure own and extended teams deliver results
  • Strenght on people skill talent as the position manages own team and extended local market trade and marketing teams
  • Availability to travel 35%
  • Industrial relations at different levels inside and outside the company, experience of 1 year on negotiation and defending projects
  • 90% of English (both verbal and written), Portuguese understanding
  • Minimum 5-6 years' work experience in related industries: Retail / Massive Consumption
  • Category management and/ or trade marketing experience, preferably in a large market and assential team management experience with people skill clear strenght
  • Marked business acumen and ability to connect shopper insights to key business drivers
  • Ability to identify value creation opportunities and understand how value is created for retailers
  • Experience in leading teams and managing people at matricial organizations and regional strategic groups woring along with global operating units
