Job Overview

TE Connectivity’s Quality Metric Analyst is responsible for the corporate level delivery and quality performance metric reporting and associated applications.  The Quality Metric Analyst provides support to users across Business Units and functions through training, reporting, assisting with data accuracy issues, providing deep dive analysis of delivery / quality metrics, and maintaining associated documentation. In addition, the Quality Metrics Analyst works with cross functional teams to continually evaluate and improve the functionality of the delivery and quality metric applications and works to design, development and deliver software solutions which provide the analytic tools needed to drive business and produce desired results.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform the roles and responsibilities of the Global Quality Metrics (GQM) Administrator including but not restricted to managing the GQM / TE Complaint Handling System (TECHS) reporting hierarchy, maintaining annual quality metric targets, performing year-end metric adjustments as required, providing end-user support when needed, maintaining, and supporting monthly and adhoc quality metric reporting.   
  • Perform the roles and responsibilities of a primary business contact for the Delivery Scorecard application (DSCD) including but not restricted to maintaining annual delivery performance targets, participating in the DSCD Exemption Request review and authorization process, providing end-user support when needed, and maintaining and supporting monthly and adhoc delivery metric reports.
  • Work in coordination with a cross functional team to design and implement the next generation metric application which takes full advantage of today’s technologies and provides visibility to delivery and quality metrics through the full supply chain.
  • Work with acquisition teams to establish quality and delivery metric reporting processes.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve data accuracy issues within TE Systems which impact the accuracy of the delivery and quality performance metrics.
  • Serve as back-up for TE Complaint Handling System (TECHS) Administrator as needed.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the documentation associated with the Quality and Delivery Metrics.
  • Perform TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) Quality and Delivery Metric Analysis as it pertains to TEOA Star Level validations.

Professional Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience at TE in any function, not limited to quality. 

Specific Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills

  • Self-motivated individual able to learn quickly and work in a self-directed work environment with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work accurately with numbers and details.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of software, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced English (written and spoken)

Preferred Skills but not Required: 

  • Knowledge of SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence (TED 2.0/Webi) 
  • Less than 10% Travel (Occasional travel within Mexico or to the US for training as required)
