Roles and Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Using CAD models, manufactures fixture and gage details and assembles components to completed functional assembly within allowable tolerances, within expected time frame and within forecast costs.
- Also expected to make necessary fixture and gage repairs to keep with job running while producing parts that meet the blueprint.
- Ability to use NC WEDM and VMC machines as well as traditional tool making equipment such as knee-mills and surface grinders to manufacture and repair fixtures and gauges.
- Ability to use CAM and CAD software
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Journeyman Apprenticeship Certification, or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 12 months tooling experience
- Ability to work 2nd shift
- Must supply their own tools
