About the role:
We are seeking a New Product Planning Head who can build and own the New Product Planning value strategy for Novartis Mexico's pipeline and shape the environment to enable the adoption of innovation.
This role will work directly with the Access, Medical, Regulatory and Supply teams and reports to the Value and Access Head.
Key responsibilities:
• Identify/receive the request for a New Product/indication and assess the business opportunities.
• Build a compelling cross functional NPP strategy adapted to the local market, therapy area, competitive context and external environment ensuring critical success factors and effective budget definition and management.
• Demonstrate sound understanding of early-stage drug development, launch, and commercialization (including clinical development, regulatory affairs, strategic and medical marketing, market access, pricing, manufacturing and supply chain, and intellectual property).
• Track launch readiness, understand key metrics and trends that impact market access success.
• Pave the way for the commercial product strategy by incorporating the value proposition based on insights from relevant partners.
• Build strategic engagement and alliances with regional and global teams to get decisions made and resources in place.
• Lead, empower and develop cross-functional launch team to secure the execution of the tactical plan.
