The People (HR) & Site Operations Manager position is somebody with strong administrative and leadership skills and will be required to work onsite at our Merida, MX office. Although this position does not manage people directly, you will be considered a leader in this office. You will function as the site human resources point of contact so proper handling of complex, confidential information is critical. Listed below are additional responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Verato’s HR team and Veramex’s business partners to implement all HR and Recruiting programs required to make the operation of Veramex a success. Develop a friendly and productive work environment for the software engineering team operating in Mexico. Help coordinate our recruiting activities as we expand the operation. Exhibit creativity and resourcefulness to quickly address office or staffing issues as they come up. Collaborate with Verato’s management team and business partners to implement and manage all Site, HR, and event planning for our Mexico-based operations. Lead the vision to create a world-class, productive environment in which our employees and business will thrive. Partner with accounting to ensure all accounting and financial programs are executed smoothly. Creat and implement incentives to enhance employee productivity.Monitoring office supplies, inluding ordering new appliances, furniture, and electronics as needed. Organizing paperwork for new employee onboarding. Organize maintenance companies/vendors to keep the office clean and ensure its appliances are in good working order. Manage office budget. You will have a precise focus on proactively protecting the privacy and security of all systems while always ensuring you are following documented policies and procedures.Requirements 2 or more years of work experience in an administrative/office management role.Bachelor's degree, such as in business administration, communications, or a related field. Ability to read, write and speak English & Spanish fluentlyAbility to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks. Leadership ability to manage challenges and oversee employees. Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees, upper management, and company client on a daily basis. Experience working in an office environment typically as an administrative or office assistant. Ability to lead, which enables overseeing the successful operations of an office and its employees. Be able to make difficult decisions to uphold their company’s overall health. Must have exceptional attention to detail. Must be a self-starter and driven.Strong problem-solving skills. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
